Editorial Policy and Source Standards

Blurrix publishes public-reference information about product labels, ingredients, regulations and consumer-product claims. We keep a strict boundary between informational content and personal health, nutrition, dermatology or supplement advice.

Information, Not Advice

Blurrix content is for educational and transparency purposes only. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent or cure any condition and is not a substitute for medical, nutritional, dietetic, dermatological, pharmaceutical or legal advice. Personal decisions should be discussed with a qualified professional.

Source Hierarchy

  1. Primary law and regulator documents: EU regulations, FDA materials, ECHA classifications, EFSA opinions and national regulator publications.
  2. Peer-reviewed literature, systematic reviews and research databases, with preference for dated, citable sources.
  3. Recognized public databases and official standards for ingredients, chemical classifications and product labels, including IARC classifications, INCI/PCPC resources and regulator documents.
  4. Market and consumer-behavior reports are used only for trend context, never as evidence of product efficacy or safety.

How We Phrase Health-Adjacent Topics

When a topic touches food, supplements, cosmetics, toxicity, hormones, metabolism or longevity, Blurrix describes what public sources report. We avoid prescriptive language such as dosage instructions, treatment claims, disease-prevention promises, personal recommendations or statements that promise personal outcomes.

Product scores are editorial and informational labels. They are not clinical assessments, medical-device outputs, nutrition plans or professional recommendations.

Corrections Policy

If a source changes, a regulation is updated, or a factual issue is reported, we review the affected content and update the page where appropriate. Material updates are reflected through the visible last-reviewed date and the page's structured data. Correction requests can be sent to info@blurrix.com.

Independence and Sponsorship

Blurrix does not accept payment to change a public reference score or ingredient explanation. If sponsored content, affiliate relationships or commercial partnerships are introduced in the future, they will be clearly labeled and separated from editorial reference content.
